Think Not To Miss In Lombok

Lombok is an island located near Bali, which is already famous as one of the most popular tourist destination in Indonesia. Although the location is very close to Bali, Lombok is not as popular as its neighbor but still it held lots of attraction that people want to miss out. Right now, there are more and more people that decide to come and visit this island for many reason including its attraction center, more affordable prices for room hotel and the island’s scenic view is pretty much still natural with little disturbance. 

Anyone who visits Lombok will not want to miss out these things, because they all basically part of Lombok:

• In English, Lombok means chili, the small fruit that makes the food spicy. In Lombok, as well as in other part of Indonesia, chili was made into sambal, a fiery condiment that enjoyed along with other food such as chicken, fish and even vegetables. 

• Beautiful beach. There are quite plenty of beaches in Lombok that offer the same or even more beauty than what people can find in Bali’s beaches this day. The beaches are not too crowded and in some places, it offer great waves that any surfer will love to surf on it. Bangko-bangko or desert point beach and also Gili Nanggu Island has the perfect waves for those who want to enjoy more than just white sandy beach and crystal blue water. 

• Extreme food. During February, the local tribe of Lombok, the Sasak people held one of the most colorful festivals in the island called Bau Nyale or Sea Worm festival. The main idea of this festival is as a remembrance of a mythical princess who drowned herself rather than entering an arranged and full of politic intricate marriage. The festival also called as Sea worm festival for a reason. During the festival, the local people will caught marine worms, roasted it inside banana leaf and eat it together. Anyone who has the guts to try all kind of food from all around the world should not miss this extreme food. 

Those are at least three things that people should not miss out during their time in Lombok. There are many great things to enjoy in there especially its pearl jewelry production. This island is pretty famous for its quality pearl and it will nice to have one of them either for personal use or as a gift. Better to come to Lombok and see it with your own eyes.
