Make Science Fair Projects Less Burden To Your Kid
Science fair projects could be intimidating for some kids. They afraid they will not make a good project and fail. They afraid they will become a laughing stock at class or even at school. They worry about the mark. They worry if the teacher will mad with them. They worry if the parents will be embarrassed. Such condition is not good for student and parents should help student to reduce the load. As parent, you should give full support to your kid for the next science fair. Sometime, the biggest problem is the kid thinks the idea is too simple or already done. Science fair projects are something that require unique project so your kid would be worry if his project were very common. For example, when you choose color symphony experiment with milk, food color, and soap, you can develop it by experimenting with different but similar ingredients. The second thing is help your kid to do the experiment at home. However, do not take over the job but let your kid do it his own while you only do a little help when he needs it. When he fails, give him more courage to try again. Mostly, science project will create mess at home. Do not mad with your kid for creating mess, it is supposed to be happen. In order to reduce problem, provide special space for your kid to do his project in somewhere safe. When you ask your kid to clean up, ask it in a smooth way without yelling.
Tell your kid that science project should be fun and he should not worry about the mark. Just make sure that you like what he is doing and proud of him, no matter what the result would be. It would reduce the fear to science fair projects and help him to gain confidence.
