Want To Be An Expert In Computer Science?

Computation has a practical and scientific approach which known as computer science. This subject focused on the systematic study over a few fields such as expression, structure, mechanization, and feasibility of the algorithms under the basis of the access, processing, communication, storage to information. In essence, it is very much connected to the design and theory of computation. Some might put their interest on such science and thus they want to be an expert in the field. However, to be an expert means that someone need to put hours of work as well as passion and dedication into the field of science.

What do we need to be an expert in computer science field? Well, there are at least a few things to do:

• Failure is reasonable, therefore you need to move on quickly 

So there are many things to learn and in the process someone will meet some failure. But don’t give up so easily. This is the first ethic of learning science.

• Understand tools needed 

Every science got its own tool, so our job is to understand how they work. In relation with that, we need to understand a web browser, interpreter, assembler, linker, and compiler and how they are going to work and support your job.

• Write code as well as having an ability to read it 

We will deal with thousands of code (and more) in such a field as computer science. There are countless streams of data and code and it is necessary for a computer to live. In that way, we must update our skill continuously so that we can remain competitive.

• Diverse the idea 

“We need to be diverse”, said an expert. Therefore we need to learn how OS (operating system) work, how computers work, how data work, how programming languages work, and how software work.

• Be a creative person 

There is no such thing as single practice and method, especially in the field of computer science. Often we stuck in impossibility but it is indeed challenge for us, for the science itself was never isolated.

So there are a few things to consider before we start jump to the pool of computer. Be mathematic and be logical, as well as be men who keep challenging himself are the next things to consider too. Without passion and dedication, we won’t be anything. New problem arise everyday and they need to be solved. Computer science is an interesting field because we will face so much difficulty, everyday and every time.
